I paint because I love it.
I do commissions to explore what others love.
All my paintings were made with reclaimed interior house paint (lead free and water based). I pick from the buckets people drop at our local dump. If I need a shade I can't find, I mix it.
I do all my paintings on gallery wrap canvass because I like the simplicity of a frame-less piece, and the environmentally friendly nature of skipping the frame.
I love questions and comments. If something strikes a feeling in you, please share, I would love to know what inspires you.
All of the pictures are intentionally photographed at less than print quality because I only do originals. I believe that if you want my art, you should own it, not an imitation.
For those who do not wish to invest in a full sized painting (I have a tendency to make things large) I do offer artist trading cards (ACEO sans E for they are all original too) at 10.00, and Trading card sized commissions for 10.00 on local pick-up or shipping.
If you are wishing to use PayPal you will need to apply their service fee on top of my cost.

I have entered the Devious Wear Cute Monsters Design Challenge!
I know. It doesn't look anything like the rest of my art, but everyone has to sell out once in a while. :)
I don't expect to win, but it would be really cool, and I would wear the shirt. /shrug
I tried to make a design that is all the things that the contest listed (I'm a real rules to the letter person) but I am not sure how many guys would wear a cuddly monster in the first place, so we'll just see.

Show time! Today, Friday the 13th, is my first public art show (not by invitation only). I am excited. Live painting, live music, live artists... all that jazz. I will upload works after the show! If you are in Loveland (near Fort Collins, CO) go to 213 e.4th st. and check it out.

Absolutely! Wish there were more tutorials for those of us who are really novice book binders. (i.e. uses center staples, or center thread on thin paperbacks)
I like the ones you have so far.
Also, I had a lot of fun imagining what would be written in each book if it were filled.

I would tend to say, you need more humorous comments. I am happy to hold the "funniest" distinction till such a time as they arrive.
